Big Tech bans Trump; Gab is getting a massive Torba boost

Free-speech social media site, Gab.com has experienced a massive population boost recently since U.S. President Donald J. Trump's social media accounts have been purge by Californian Big-Tech.

Over 400k people have signed up on Gab and have over 13 million unique visitors from all over the world.

Consequently, Gab has been experiencing technical issues since this population boost began, making their own servers slow. According to owner and CEO Andrew Torba, his team will be adding more servers and doing maintenance to prepare for the massive influx of new people.

In an allegory way, it's like Moses and his family (the people) head for the ark (Gab) to escape the flood (Big Tech purge). Just saying.

The majority of these new people coming to Gab are from Twitter, Facebook, and Parler. (Because of Trump's influential presence on those platforms.) Their stocks have been down as a consequence ever since.

President Trump has been banned on all mainstream social media platforms.

On January 6, 2021, after the storming of the United States Capitol while Congress. Twitter warned Trump not to incite further violence. According to Twitter, Trump did not comply, and two days later, on January 8, Twitter permanently suspended his @realDonaldTrump handle, followed by the official account of his campaign (@TeamTrump) shortly thereafter.

On January 6, 2021, amid a protest at the Capitol, while Congress was counting the electoral votes, Trump posted a short video to social media. Facebook removed it. Facebook’s vice president of integrity, Guy Rosen, explained that the video “contributes to rather than diminishes the risk of ongoing violence.” (YouTube also removed the same video. Twitter at first left it up but disabled comments but later the Tweet was deleted. That day, Facebook also blocked Trump's ability to post new content; the next day, Facebook said the block would remain at least until the end of Trump's term on January 20.

On January 6, 2021, Instagram (Facebook, which owns Instagram) blocked Trump's ability to post new content to Instagram; the next day, the company said the block would remain at least until the end of Trump's term on January 20.

On January 6, 2021, following the protest at the United States Capitol, Snapchat locked Trump's account

On January 7, 2021, Trump's Twitch account was disabled indefinitely. This was done in response to "Trump's alleged incitement of the storming of the United States Capitol." While his profile and archived videos are still viewable, he will not be able to stream as long as his account is disabled.

Though Non-Con owned Parler didn't ban Trump's account, Within three days after the January 6, 2021 storming of the Capitol, both Google and Apple removed the Parler app from their app distribution services. Google said that "we do require that apps implement robust moderation for egregious content"; Apple similarly complained of "direct threats of violence and calls to incite lawless action" on the Parler platform. Amazon Web Services shut down Parler's web servers the same day.

Then after all of that, that's when the wave of people is coming to Gab.

This will not stop the Trump movement, this will further increase it and make Trump stronger as the whole situation has proved the President's point that he's been talking about for years. Trump's supporters outside of the US and other capitals have also been protesting "Stop the Steal".

In conclusion, Free speech is critical to human communication to speak our minds the way we want, because it's free will. The Californian Big Tech corporations don't like Trump's opinions or thoughts, they never like you and never will. They don't care about anyone else's opinion but their own. That's why they banned him and so many other voices for long and people are tired of it.

Gab lets you speak freely and won't ban you because of your different opinions or beliefs. Gab is also like a "hybrid" alternative of Facebook and Twitter.

Gab has been bullied, smeared, black-listed, and shadowbanned over the years, Wikipedia and news outlets have been trying to ruin its reputation for years. Google and Apple removed its dedicated app last year.

Don't worry it's a legit website, not owned by billionaires from California but normal people like you.

The best part about Gab, that's it's open-source and you can make your own Gab server if you wish. It's federated, and we need things more federated, not monopolistic.

A reserved account for the U.S. President is on Gab right now. @realdonaldtrump
