Velma has inspired me to race-swap myself, please excuse me while I black up! |
This is an unapologetic rant; if you do not like rants, you should not read this.
Velma is an American adult animated mystery comedy series centered on the character Velma Dinkley from the Scooby-Doo franchise; it premiered on HBO Max and has gained a negative backlash from fans.
What the f***k did they do to our favorite characters? What is this abomination?
They turned Velma into a dark-skinned Indian, turned Daphne into an Asian (with fake red hair), and made them lesbians. Shaggy is now a black dude, and they turned Fred into a white guilt Nazi clichรฉ stereotype as a punching bag for a racist anti-white agenda. Scooby-Doo is not present (that we know of). If you want Latino representation, make Scooby a chihuahua. And instead of Scooby Snax, you could feed him spicy Doritos.
A quote from Mindy Kaling, co-creator of the show and voice actress of Velma, why they race-swapped Velma:
"We were really inspired by Into the Spider-Verse — it's animation, we can do anything. The essence of Velma is not necessarily tied to her whiteness. And I identify so much as her character, and I think so many people do, so it's like, yeah, let's make her Indian in this series."
You can see the narcissism in her. I'm voicing her, "So she's gotta be like meeeeeeeee". Mindy Kaling is doing this because she feels the need to seek the intention to be relevant. However, she is not and never will be because it bit her in the ass.
Day 'n Night |
There was another quote where she says Velma has always been an LGBT icon. No, she is not. It was just a stupid joke everyone made back in the day based on the fact she was a frumpy nerdy chick, like how people joked about Shaggy being a stoner. She was not written/created to actually be gay.
Far Left creators do not make original content because no one watches their garbage. |
The show has a diverse cast that is surreal, Mike Tyson, a Black man; Pigeon, a pigeon; Yung Hee Tyson, a Chinese girl; and Marquess of Queensberry, an English ghost. These characters are not positive role models but are unique in their own right.
I occasionally watch the show myself, and I would rather watch that than the aborted fetus of Velma.
The Mystery Mobile is an obvious homage to the Mystery Machine. |
This is an example of making your own version of something. You do not have to hijack an already popular and established franchise to piss people off. Make your own! But they will not do it because they are intentionally doing this on purpose, just for spite. They do not like Western Civilization; they want to bastardize it.
In the U.S., we have Euro-Cuacasian characters in many American television and movies because they are the majority demographic. Americans!
From the 70s to the 00s, there were shows and movies made specifically for the African-American demographic (originally, the top minority), and everyone was happy with that, respectively.
But since the 2010s, media corporations have adopted the "Diversity & Inclusion™" policy, targeting many demographics, as a whole, to the lowest common denominator for a quick profit and political agendas. This created a cesspool of tokenism and an uncomfortable cringefest. And it often unnaturally sticks out like a sore thumb. This has been heavily criticized by the left and right-wing individuals, politicians, and organizations.
Not only they turned Daphne into an Asian but turned her into a bitch. |
The policy and agenda have been what many call, Anti-White propaganda, insulting the Euro-Cuacasians of Western Civilization. Making White men feminine and gay, White women masculine, and race-mix with other races of humanity to purposely destroy the bloodline. Many people are noticing. This is particularly changing and bastardizing Western culture. In mainstream media, White people, particularly men, are represented as weak "Nazis". They also use that word as a slur and a direct insult.
To the point I am trying to make, Velma is an anti-white show; it's racist and prejudicial. They are letting you know that they hate you, hate the stuff you love, hate Western culture, and want to change your way of life for their own benefit. Whether you like it or not!
