OPINION: What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.

The left can't meme or aim.

On July 13, 2024, Donald Trump, the president of the United States, was shot and wounded at a campaign rally near Butler, Pennsylvania. Trump was speaking to the audience when he was shot by weirdo, named Thomas Matthew Crooks.

Donald Trump is a controversial figure within the United States and North America (or should I say, the whole world). People love him or hate him, regardless of the spectrum because he caters to both sides.

Speaking your mind may create enemies, but that's just the price of free speech. Controversial figures are often at the forefront of this battle, unafraid to ruffle feathers and challenge the status quo.

Free speech is a human right, but people are often censored for their beliefs, in the U.S. and worldwide, because they don't like what they want to hear. Sure, if it is unpopular most people won't listen or ignore it, but if you try to silence the person and make it quiet, people will notice.  This results in creating the Streisand effect, a phenomenon in which an attempt to censor, hide, or otherwise draw attention away from something only serves to attract more attention to it.

If you try to assault or murder the person that you don't like, you create a Martyr. A Martyr is someone who suffers persecution and death for advocating, renouncing, or refusing to renounce or advocate, a religious or political belief or other cause as demanded by an external party.

In the U.S., the mainstream legacy media constantly kept causing libel and attacking Donald Trump and calling him a the "N-Word". It got people's attention, ironically, causing the Streisand effect that was bigger than Trump.

When he was almost assassinated during his campaign rally, he became a martyr, because what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.

Though I do not always agree with Trump and have some fair criticisms such as his Civic Nationalism beliefs and his ties with a foreign nation, you shouldn't try to assault or censor somebody because of their beliefs. We all have opinions and that's okay. You'll be a hypocrite if you believe in free speech for all, but have a meltdown and try to silence a few that you don't personally like.

When encountering someone you disagree with, it's important to engage in respectful dialogue rather than resorting to assault or censorship based on their religious or political beliefs. It's crucial to remember that attempting to silence individuals with differing viewpoints may only serve to strengthen their resolve.

I'm never really into politics, but you know what, I hope the orange man wins. Just for spite.
